Billing email carries the receipt and renewal terms

Every payment email now shows the tax, the total and the receipt number, with a link that opens the receipt PDF. Subscription emails state the price, the renewal date and how to cancel.

API Dashboard

A receipt that only says how much was charged is not much of a receipt. Payment emails now carry the line items, the tax, the total and the receipt number, plus a link that opens the PDF. The link goes to a page in the dashboard, so it works from a phone where you are not signed in yet, and it waits while the receipt is still being generated instead of failing.

Subscription emails changed with them. Starting Pro, resuming it and a monthly credit top-up now state the price, that it renews until you cancel, the date of the next renewal and how to cancel, which is what automatic renewal should tell you up front. Plan prices and what each one includes are on pricing.

  • Starting Pro sends one email, and it is the receipt for that first payment. Previously the first purchase also triggered a “Pro renewed” email a few seconds later.
  • Cancelling immediately no longer sends a message saying you keep Pro until the end of the period.
  • Accepting a team invitation now emails the person who invited you.
  • The welcome email carries the one command that connects an AI assistant, so an agent can run jobs on your account. See the MCP server.
  • All thirteen emails were rebuilt on one set of components, with a dark mode, readable plain-text versions and contrast checked in both themes.
