Top up credits on a monthly schedule

Set a credit top-up to repeat every month instead of buying each time. Manage the card on file, pick which one is charged, and see every recurring charge in one total.

Dashboard API SDK

Buying credits was a one-time purchase every time. A top-up can now repeat monthly, so an account that runs steadily does not have to be topped up by hand.

Pick Every Month when adding credits and the same amount is added on that date each month. It is a separate subscription from the Pro plan, so an account can hold one, both, or neither, and cancelling either leaves the other running.

Billing shows what that commits you to before you buy:

  • Recurring Charges sums the Pro plan and the monthly top-up into one figure with the lines that make it up, and the date of the next charge.
  • Payment Methods lists every card on file, marks which one Polar charges, and lets you change it or remove one you no longer use.
  • A cancelled subscription keeps its benefits until the period you paid for ends, and the page says so rather than implying it stopped immediately.

Cancel a monthly top-up from the Recurring Charges card at any time. It keeps adding credits until the end of the period already paid for, then stops.

Both plans are on the pricing page, and a zero balance still only blocks new jobs rather than the account, as it has since zero balance no longer suspends your workspace.

Credits work the same way either side of the plan line. You pay for what a job costs, and a top-up is prepaid balance rather than a bill at the end of the month.
