Guided first setup and email preferences
The dashboard now opens with a short setup that fits how you plan to run jobs, and Settings lets you choose which Rendobar emails you get.
The first time you open the dashboard, it asks how you plan to run jobs and shows the setup for that path next to the question. Pick AI assistant, In my code, Terminal or Automation and you get the exact steps: the MCP server connection for Claude and other clients, the SDK with a setup prompt for your coding agent, the CLI, or the n8n node.
The code and Automation paths need an API key, so the setup makes one for you when your workspace has none. If it already has a key, you get a link to the API keys page instead. The screen shows once per person, and you can change any answer later in Settings.
It also asks whether you want product updates by email. Nothing is preselected and both answers are fine.
- Settings, Preferences now has an Email section. Product updates and balance alerts each have a switch. Sign-in, billing and account mail is always sent.
- Every email from Rendobar links to your email preferences in its footer.
- Product mail carries a one-click unsubscribe that works from the inbox, with an undo on the page it opens.
