Pro costs $9/month, includes $5/month in credits plus a 25% bonus on every top-up, and renders compose up to 1440p at 30 fps. Studio costs $29/month, includes $20/month in credits plus a 25% bonus on every top-up, and renders compose up to 4K at 60 fps. Nothing requires a paid plan, and every job type runs on every plan. Compose renders cost $0.04/min of output on every plan. Other jobs bill by the compute they use.
Is there a free video processing API with no credit card?
Yes. Rendobar gives every new account $5 in free credits on signup with no credit card required. The free tier includes every live job type (FFmpeg commands and file probes, JSON timeline video composition, target-size compression, burned-in and animated captions, and image generation, editing and upscaling), running 1 job at a time with a 500 MB file size limit. Need more at once? Pro runs 20 and Studio runs 50 concurrently.
What happens if my job fails?
Compute is charged for every job submission, including failures. The charge reflects what we pay our infrastructure and execution providers (typically a few cents per minute of compute). If a failure was caused by our infrastructure or a third-party outage, contact support and we'll refund it. Successful jobs are charged at the same rate plus our margin. Compose renders work differently. A failed render pays twice its compute when the cause may be the input, and nothing when the failure is ours. A compose job that never starts is free.
What is faster output delivery?
On Studio, an output of 512 MB or more streams into each of your connected buckets while it uploads to us, instead of being copied there after the job ends. Most of the file is already in your bucket when the job finishes, so the whole job, from submit to the file in your storage, ends sooner. A 1.08 GB output landed in a bucket on another continent about 4.5 s after its job ended, against about 21 s on other plans. If your jobs produce large videos and send them to your own storage, this is the feature that matters most. Smaller outputs are copied the same fast way on every plan.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits never expire. Purchased credits and monthly grants accumulate in your balance.
What's the minimum balance to submit a job?
Submissions require a positive balance (greater than zero). A single in-flight job may bring your balance below zero. Further submissions are blocked until you top up. Most jobs cost between $0.01 and $0.50.
Can I run custom FFmpeg commands through an API?
Yes. Rendobar offers FFmpeg as a service. Send any FFmpeg command via the REST API, CLI, or MCP tools, and it executes on cloud infrastructure with no server setup. Commands are validated through 8 security layers before execution.
