Terms of Service

Welcome to Rendobar. By accessing or using our video rendering API and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Rendobar's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Rendobar provides a video rendering API that allows developers to:

  • Submit video composition specifications
  • Render videos in various formats (MP4, WebM, MOV, GIF)
  • Process and transform media assets
  • Receive rendered outputs via webhooks or direct download

3. Account Registration

To use Rendobar, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your API keys and credentials
  • Be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter into this agreement
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the service for illegal purposes or to violate any laws
  • Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Reverse engineer the service or API
  • Resell access without authorization
  • Submit malicious files or code
  • Use the service to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content

5. API Usage and Rate Limits

  • API usage is subject to your subscription tier limits
  • Exceeding limits may result in throttling or temporary suspension
  • Unused renders do not roll over between billing periods
  • We reserve the right to modify limits with reasonable notice

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Rendobar a limited license to process your content solely for providing the service.

Our Service: Rendobar and its technology remain our exclusive property. You receive no ownership rights to our software, APIs, or infrastructure.

7. Payment Terms

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
  • All fees are in USD and non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice

8. Service Availability

  • We target 99.9% uptime for paid tiers
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance
  • We are not liable for downtime beyond our SLA commitments
  • Free tier has no uptime guarantee

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of Rendobar is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process your data only to provide the service and as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

By You: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Our liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not liable for loss of data, revenue, or profits

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Rendobar against claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict of law principles.
